Droopy

Aswell as researching into a youthful full of energy character, My story was also going to include in contrast the complete oposit, a lazy not full of much energy character. And I can take influence from this clip, as you can just see from the effect of Droopy's eye that hes not full of energy. Ilike the way Droopy is animated for example he dose'nt move alot, and often stays still however he's like the center point of the animation and everything happens around him, and he looks oblivious to eveything. Something I also like wich will similar to something I want to include into my animation is the storyline of te more youthful full of energy character trying to play tricks and having them backfire which this animation demonstrates perfectly.

Pixar Intro

I really like the way the lamp reprsents a youuthful charater full of energy and I can take influence from the way the character jumps as im includind something similar into my animated, for example he takes really big strides and moves really fast across the screen. I also like the pace of this animation, and its such a Quick simple story which as been animated so well and includes good use of some humour too.

Wall E

Reasons why I can take influence is I really like the way walle is animated and even though he does'nt speak much, he cretes alot of emotion through his movement and as a robot I really lke the way he is used in squash and stretch. I also like thu humour which comes with his character and the sound effects even though he does'nt say alot are brilliant. I also like the way he represents a youthful character which is something im looking for in my animation

Character Ideas

Fist step of my animation project entitled move, I did a bit of potential charcter designs inwhich I could use, I just drew the images of the top of my head with no directions or influences,I liked the drawings however I soon realised that these designs would be too complicated to model in 3D maya, especially as this would be my first time using 3D maya, however I decided to keep the images as they could be used into another brief.

The Trapdoor

One of my favorite programmes whilst I was growing Up and still love It today, Im a big fan of Claymation and I'm a massive fan Of The Trapdoor, Reasons I love it so much cause I love the Character Modeling, although you cant tell from just 1 video but they have come up with many unique and synful characters each with different atributes, and all the mini episodes follow the similar storyline creature escapes from the Trapdoor and causes trouble, such a simple idea but is made so well. The animations also feature dark humour which I love and is just a brilliant watch, Id recommend watching as many of the episodes, its simply brilliant and an example of what kids TV used to be like and Shud be brought back !

I choose this video as i am a massive music fan and music has a huge influence on many of my projects, The reason I choose this video in particular is because I love the character designs and i love the way they are animated using stop motion, I really like the way the music flows with the animation to deliver more emotion and feel into the animation I love the shadings and the textures and the lighntning effects and the darkness of the animation and the way it drags u into suspense and I like way the video is kind of disturbing.
