Throughout this project I was a beginner in most of the stuff for example this was my first time using equipment such as HD cameras and had very little experience with other crucial filming eqipment such as Lighting and Tripods and throughout this brief I aproved my knowledge and became more comfortable with the software.
I also had very little experience on software such as After Effects and Final Cut Pro and I really enjoyed using the tutorials and improving my knowledge and learning new effects which I cant use not just for film but for many different forms of media and for upcoming projects.
Overall Im fairly satisfied with my film for saying that its the first time I've peformed anything like this. Of cause if I was to do it again they would be plenty of things I'd learn but Im happy with the progress and hopefully I can take what i've learned from this project and use it to improve on upcoming projects and push myself even further.
I also did the 2 minuite brief with Mark and Ifraz which went really well and from doing that project I learned alot of valuable things which I took over on to my project, such as the continuity effect which I learned on for mine.
I also did some work on other projects, more behing the scenes for example carrying equipment and providing advice and my opinions but overall even though this is not a brief that aquires to my taste I enjoyed learning about it and learning new skills.

Fim Production 1.4 (Final Video)
Just finished the movie and Im quite happy with the way the edit when, unfortunatly I cant upload it here as the filesize is to big but the film will be on the the CD and hope to upload it onto youtube in the near future.
Film Production 1.3 ( Audio)
For the audio, Im planning on having a song played over the top apart from the opening and ending shot, In which im gonna start of with the alarm clock sounding and when that shot has finished the song kicks in and similar to the ending shot which is me talking into the cam. Im gonna try a sync the music as best as possible to the video. Im aiming for a fast punk rock sound, as its peronal to me and alot of songs relate to drinking, going out and having fun which im trying to relate to my video. Film Production 1.2 (Editing PT 3 Visual Effect)
For my visual effect I was always from the start in going for a sin city effect, however I originally planned to concentrate on the theme of red, as I was going to include Shots involving blood which was going to be the main vocal point of the video from 2 scenes including the blood splattering on the sink and the shot of me cutting cheese, was going to include some blood effect in that shot. However I really struggled to get a good blood effect and could not find anywhere within reason that would sell fake blood, I attempted making my own blood mixing items such as, ketchup and honey but was never happy with the final result.
So I rethought my plan and went for the idea of having a green effect to coincide wit the use of the bottles in the film which I planned to make the main vocal point instead and to inform the viewers of there importance which I hoped for.
Heres a really effective tutorial I found using Adobe After effects which I found really easy to follow and use and turned out that this effect was a lot easier than I first feared.

However hopefully at a later date after deadline I could go back and revisit and hopefully include the coloured footage. I would also like to go over it and experiment with the cutting scene and include some blood, maybe dripping of the table where I cut myself that could be effective.

Unfortunately due to the amount of footage I collected I had to drop a lot of shots to coincide with the 1 minute brief. I struggled to upload the files on to blogger as was set to the wrong format so I plan o burn them all on to CD.
As mentioned before Shots listed Scenes not used 1-9 were not used for the fact I skipped the scene in The bathroom, I was also given advice as to leave this part of the film out as the Blood effect I went for turned out really bad with the coloring and looked over the top which could have worked as I was aiming for a kind of comedy / dark humor theme so I decided to leave that aspect of the film out, It would be nice to go back and revisit that scene. Another reason I left it out was I was not happy with the footage building up to the shower room scene so decided it was for the best to carry on to the kitchen scene. I plan in the future to edit this and include this scene at a later date.

Film Production 0.9 (Day Of Filming)
Day of filming went pretty well, There was a few problems encounted though, obviously some rooms including the bedroom and the shower are were really cramped so trying to fit a tripod into tight spaces was really difficult and some planned shots had to be slighly ajusted for example the first shot of the character getting out of the bed was done at an angle and not from an shot straight ahead as The tripod would'nt fit. Also the same happened with the footage recordered in the shower room and of cause had to be cautious what with the obvious water electricity, however I was glad the camera even fit in there.
Obviuosly a big problem was the continuity effect and making sure random items did'nt turn up in situations inwhich they wer'nt previously which we struggled with during the 2 minuite film we did however I learned from that, which was a task in itself especially with the amount of bottles and cans I was using but overal it went smoothly.

Film Production 0.8 (Costume)
For my film I only needed to persue one Costume for the character. I originally planned this outfit for my original concept film however I believe this outfit will work for my new film as It could pass as either casual clothes the character went out in the night before relating to the storyline or clothes he plans to wear to a job interview for example. I want to lead that aspect of the story to the viewers imagination and what they believed, until the real ending is revealed.
Another reason why I choose black is I noticed inwhich alot of my walls are white and im planning on creating a good contrast as Im planning to edit the footage into a black and white film with elements of colour and this makes a perfect outfit. The use of the tie added is because i've been playing with the potential idea of having the tie coloured, and black would be easy to create the effect with. I got the idea from the intro to Marco's Kitchen Burnout intro, which unfortunatly I cant find a video for but basically it as the same effect but used the head tie things, whatever there called.
Film Production 0.7 (Setting)
For my setting as I have mentioned I am going to be filming in my Student accomidation. I wanted to add to the setting by making my room as untidy as possible.
Heres a view photos of my first setting in the film which will be the bedroom in which will host the beggingin of the film and the ending.
The second setting in the clip is going to be my shower room which I plan to host the Shving scene. As you can already notice there is a potential hazad here what with water and elecrtic and you can see its not the biggest amount of space so fitting the camera in could be tricky.
The third setting is going to be the corridor room, which I sgoing to be straight forward as its gonna host me walking down the corridor inwhich to reach the kitchen.
Fourth and final setting inwhich my video will include is the kitchen area which is the biggest room available with plenty of room to perform a range of different shots and hope to inlude some nice long shots within this room.This setting shall host the scene inwhich I cut myself making a sandwich.

Shot 4 - Go into a mid range view from the side as I spill my drink over my face, I want this shot to be done in slow motion to increase the tension.

Film Production 0.4
Started doing some test footage trying out some techniques for the first part of the film and started testing different angles, However looking back over the footage I wasn't to keen, not with the shots I took but more to the fact for my character I was playing as I was going to be acting in my film basically as I was the only one with some basic acting skills. However my film was intended to be a serious affair about someone struggling from the loss of his murdered girlfriend but It was hard to act serious and often at times turned more into a comedy, which I wasn't pursuing So I had a rethink about my film.
Basically I got the idea that I shall continue a similar story line however add a few elements, such as I decided to do a bit of filming in the kitchen But basically I was going to do a short i min film about my morning, to them theme of been hung over and having a project deadline in for tomorrow, which is a usual scenario for me however add a twist at the end which i've been thinking about So i shall come up with a new storyboard
