Digital Film Year 2 - Further Development Shot 4

Taking on influence from the last shot which turned out really well, I decided yo follow a similar technuque as the two images were very similar in style and I thought it would look good by the animating a red box to go along the gun and then shoot out, Once again people mentioned to use a different shape or a more blood like effect, but I decided against for similar reasons as mentioned previosly, And i like the way the gun is diagnoal and aimed at the corner so in away that complents the style I chose as its adjacent to the corner. Im also really pleased with the blood splatters which look really effective and are timed really well, and the placing of the text works well and im happy with the timing of the text apearing after the paint splashesas it kinda builds up tension and then calms down emphasising that point of keeping the viewers guesing through changes of pace. Potential development is to have the eyes light up when the gun is about to shoot but once again think that would take the emphasis off as too much red imagery happing at once, and should be best left earlier. So in conclusion I think this shot is complete and is one im really proud off
